Editing PM titles breaks them
-
- Someone sent me a PM, I edited the title. Then I tried to reply and got a 403 Forbidden error:
(what the hell is that black blotch on the edit box? I didn't draw that) - I sent him a new PM and it worked. Then I tried editing the title of the new PM and the same thing happened again.
- After refreshing the page, the reply button seems to have disappeared entirely from both PMs (i.e. I don't have permission to reply)
- I confirmed with a sockpuppet account that after editing the title it becomes impossible for both users to reply.
It also seems to cause a second "ghost edit" attributed to the person that edited the title (that does not appear to actually change anything), but only the first time you edit it (probably changing the permissions?).

Days since last Discourse bug : 0
-
We may need to start measuring this in hours, not days.
-
Minutes, actually.
-
seconds from 1970 (might still end up with 0)
Filed Under: Discourse broke the fabric of time and space
-
Still a pretty bold choice.
-
Attoseconds since last Discourse bug.
-
As in 'attoboy, there's another bug'?
-
-
Why is that counting up? The interval is one second, and I assume that, some place on the interwebs, another Discourse bug is being found. Is the scope of that animation only w.tdwtf?
-
Pretty much. We're not quite numerous enough to experience bugs literally every second
-
If you watch the gif long enough, it bugs out and says -1 seconds, but as an unsigned integer.
-
That reminds me of an Error'd that someone submitted while not sober...
-
I've stolen this. It's mine now.
