Butt Construction?

  • Considered Harmful

There's no way this is a real website.

    ...Maybe. No. I won't believe that's a real company.

    WTF?

  • So I wonder what you were googling that caused you to come across that site ;)

  • I wonder if they'd construct a new one for a few people I know...

  • I was browsing our web server here and found this little gem: bgbutts.gif

  • I have no doubts about it being a real site -

  • Well, if it is, look at their projects list. They have built a whole bunch of projects at Wright-Patterson AFB.

  • H-E-B grocery stores (founded by Herbert E. Butt) at least has the grace to abbreviate the name.

It also helps with their generic soft drinks...they sell "Dr. B", a generic version of Dr. Pepper. It would probably not be quite so attractive to have "Dr. Butt" written on the side of a soda can.

  • That's a tough industry to crack into.

    <sorry>

  • You know, outside of the United States, "Butt" is quite a common family name.  So much so that I didn't even break out into so much of a snigger walking past "Butt Street", and even catching a bus from "Butt" bus stop on occasion when I used to go to school.

Reminds me of Dick Smith, an Australian business man who started producing Australian owned and made versions of older well known brands that had been sold to oversees interests.

There was a company called Bryant and May that used to be Australian owned and made "Red Heads" matches. Dick Smith was ordered by a court to withdraw "Dick Heads".

I'm just disapointed he wasn't as creative with his brand of cheese. "Dick Cheese", "Tasty Dick", etc.

  • Butt... There's always a butt...

Not a web site but it IS a realy company...A long standing laugh 'round here. Hopefully it will make it through the various spam/decency/pron filters.

  • This is almost as good as the business that is near where I live. Called FAG automotive.

I am dead serious, this is a real company, my uncle used to be an accountant for them.

I believe the FAG was for the founders name (who was german).

They are pretty big around here.
