Jankiness on Mobile

I have a Samsung S3 mini, while it isn't the fastest phone ... using discourse with chrome is quite painful. Mainly due to the jankiness when scrolling. The page seems to be doing a full page repaint, it especially painful when I have high latency on the connection combined with the jankiness.

FTFY.But yes, Jeff believes there are issues with Android which is why Discourse is slow, but claims that iOS devices don't exhibit the same issues.
He's wrong on both counts.

Just turn on "Show pain rectangles in Chrome" in the chrome inspector ... you will see what I mean.

You typoed "paint", but given Discourse and that, it is probably more appropriate to call them "pain rectangles".

I have Samsung Galaxy S2, so an even older phone. And rendering is OK. Loading times, on the other hand, are atrocious.

It was this cheapy ACER keyboard I am using with my PC at the moment. Sometimes it just goes mental and misses key strokes and yes I have ordered something better.
