Twitch acquired by Amazon

So, as has been seen coming for quite a while, twitch tv has been purchased, and the buyer has been revealed to be Amazon.
What's the betting that within 6 months there will be some preferential treatment for Amazon prime subscribers? be it "Amazon prime streams appear first in searches" or "Only Amazon Prime streamers can get ad revenue" or some other such nonsense?
what other streaming networks are available?

It'll be interesting to see whether they get around the copyright audio problems by automatically adding links to download the content legitimately. As far as I can see, that would be a beneficial scenario for everyone. Content creators get to include audio, viewers get the full experience, Amazon and the copyright holder get advertisement opportunities.

All I can say is, thank $deity it wasn't Google.
As for other streaming networks, there's hitbox.tv
-
Is livestream still around? I remembered having watched some streams on there in the past.

Yes. One of my friends uses it to stream things.

Everybody moved from Livestream to Twitch because Livestream's latency (~15-20 seconds) was too bad.
Now Twitch's latency is even worse (~30-40s) so everybody's moving to Hitbox.tv.
... not sure what site comes next.
-
No, people moved because the broadcasters moved. The broadcasters moved because the service was issuing late/no payments. Twitch pays on time and has a schedule for payments.
-
Ok well I like my explanation better, since it's why I personally moved. The most important thing.
I don't give a shit about money for stuff like this.

I still don't even understand the point of this.
