Staging ground: United States.
Scenario: Basically, a small company in Canada was being sued by a large company in the UK over the use of the word "Rebellion," a term used in a game they have trademarked.
The WTF is that the lawsuit was even brought to court.
At least the court system upheld common sense and dismissed the case!
Now this UK company is taking the battle up in another country...guess they don't learn very well from their experience.

I hope their dev team is better than their legal team.

I heard about this superficially. Didn't realize this Rebelliontm company are such bastards.
Thinking and talking about trademark and copyright issues will just get my blood pressure up and not achieve anything, so I'll stop.

Though I no longer give a flying turd about Star Wars after Disney crushed my childhood by eradicating the Expanded Universe.
-
Feh. This is nothing compared to the "Saga" lawsuits the Candy Crush morons were trying to push through.
-
Now there is a company to make EA look saintly…

Funny you should mention that, according to Wikipedia SW:Rebellion was released in the UK as Star Wars: Supremacy, and the company already existed at the time. They might have had a hand in this rename...
