Heh. Not too long ago my husband and I saw a plate that said "OMG WTF" driving around northern Virginia. I don't remember which state it was from, but apparently the DMV's in this area haven't picked up on internet acronyms yet.
-
wtf is "nwtf" supposed to mean? That makes no sense to me. Kids these days, I tell you.

RTFA - NorthWood Tree Farm (according to the woman), or "Now What The F*ck" (according to the DMV clerk).

That doesn't compare to this plate I saw last Friday on the expressway in Akron (Ohio).
The plate was "PWNEDU", from West Virginia... on what I think was a heavily riced out Black Honda Civic. Unfortunately, they were going the other direction, so I didn't get a chance to take a picture.

This has nothing to do with information technology or development*, but you may like this license plate, which apparently was not intended to be risque:
* Geeks and nerds rarely get invited to those kinds of parties.

Guy at my office has "PWN J00" - not a pro gamer, but probably good enough to be.

"Apparently, the young people use it on the computer,"
-
I've never seen someone use NWTF. this is a clear case of people who don't understand the computer thinking that they do.

Oh come on. If acronyms can be considered obscene then almost any letter group will end up disallowed because it can be coaxed into standing for something rude. e.g. URS = U Racist S**t

The real WTF is that sh's called Niple...
