What are/were you trying to do?

I was wondering whether you could craft a request to close someone else's poll, and wanted to check how it's made (no, didn't work). Also, general put-tags-everywhere-and-see-if-sanitization-breaks screwing around.
Normally I'd do this in the preview window, but no such luck here.

Well unfortunately the edit time window on polls is separate from the global edit timeouts and is hard coded into the poll module.
Best I can do is make the poll a wiki, and you see if you can
- change post title,
- edit list item,
- revert post title
and see if the change holds on change between not-a-poll and is-a-poll states.
Let me know.

Interesting, but I think it wouldn't matter - the poll plugin doesn't check for wikifying. Still, might be worth a try.

That's why you change the title in step 1, so the poll plugin doesn't take over. Wikified anyway.

Yeah, apparently it still remembers the poll and just reverts to the previous one when you make it a poll again, no matter what your OP now looks like.
