Discurse is logging me out

after every post I make. This annoying feature is causing me to moan and curse loudly while throwing dart on wall.
-
Discourse is improving your lawn dart game? That's impressive.
-
Sounds like a useful feature to me.

Useful to the rest of us, too.

Discourse's immune reaction to the official "Likes" thread.

Still happens. I am on IE11 in a Virtual Machine on Windows 7 32 bit platform.

ALT + F4 not available shortcut. Look like it has been hijacked by some other hooking software.

There's a Discourse login button on your computer case. It might look something like this:

The light needs to be off to activate it, but it might take a while, so be patient.

The little X in the top right usually suffices as a workaround.

Unless you're on Windows 8 with Metro-IE in which case you might not have a little X...

ObDickweed: I said usually

This was amusement source, five times. Now it is painful and troublesome.

I was assuming you meant 'usually' for the cases where an application is behaved and closes when told to do so.
Filed under: Unlike 22cans' "Godus" which for months will hang if you try to exit it, which is apparently the fault of the middleware they built it on and most definitely not their devs' fault.

The smart dickweed leaves it vague for additional wiggle room.
-
Yeah, see, I'm not that smart. I'm merely at pedantry level.
-
-
Actually, I didn't say that I was a smart dickweed.
-
Of course you didn't. I just said I wasn't that smart, because I'm not

Well, if you look at what I replied to, you'll see that I wasn't responding to you. Gawd, I feel like @blakeyrat with you people.
-
You're complaining that people are dumber than you. Imagine how I feel when everyone else around me seems to be smarter than I am. I just hang out hoping some of that will rub off on me.

If only @blakeyrat had your great attitude. You are an inspiration to airheads, birdbrains, blockheads, boneheads, bubbleheads, chowderheads, chuckleheads, clodpolls (or clodpoles), clot s[British], clucks, clunks, cretins, cuddies, deadheads, dim bulbs, dimwits, dips, dodos, dolts, donkeys, doofuses, dopes, dorks, dullards, dumbbells, dumbheads, dum-dums, dummkopfs, dummies, dunces, dunderheads, fatheads, ganders, golems, goofs, goons, half-wits, hammerheads, hardheads, ignoramuses, imbeciles, jackasss, know-nothings, knuckleheads, lamebrains, loggerheads, loons, lumps, lunkheads, meatheads, momes, morons, mugs, mutts, nimrods, nincompoops, ninnies, ninnyhammers, nits, nitwits, noddies, noodles, numskulls, oafs, pinheads, prats , ratbags, sapheads, schlubs, schnooks, simpletons, stocks, stupes, stupids, thickheads, turkeys, woodenheads, yahoos, and yo-yos everywhere.

I'm brain-farting right now. That just HAS to be from a Mel Brooks movie but I can't recall which one. Seems very Blazing Saddles-ish except I virtually have that movie memorized.

Sounds like him. In fact, I just googled for synonyms for @blakeyrat ^W idiot and plugged it in. Swift uses this sort of thing a lot in Gulliver's Travels, and it amused me.

This sounds like Dr. Lorna from Sluggy Freelance when she made her book of 10 Reasons Why Men Are Losers, because her thesaurus only had 10 alternative words for loser.

Yes I did see that also. i will try to list all steps to reproduce.
-
Repro is trying to make a post when logged out. You get that a lot.
-
Anyone else getting logged out randomly? First I have heard of this.
-
Unfortunately, @codinghorror I am unable to repro this today.
On Friday it was making me go crazy. First I am thinking it is all this coffee I drink to stay awake, but now I think it is just the software.

How did you notice?

My colleague did and tell me about it. He say to me, please put that axe back in shelf before you kill any more of us.
