Ctrl + Click on logo doesn't open site in new tab

Bug: Holding down the Ctrl key and clicking on the logo in the header doesn't open the main page in a new tab
Expected behavior: User holds down Ctrl key, clicks on the header logo, and the main page opens in a new tab
Actual behavior: User holds down Ctrl key, clicks on the header logo, and the main page opens in the same tabEDIT: Forgot my browser, Chrome ∞

For the record, middle-clicking on the logo does appear to work properly in both Firefox 28 and IE10, while ctrl+click doesn't (though it works fine on other links).
-
Confirmed on FF32.
Middle clicking opens new tab as expected however.
-
Middle clicking works properly (new tab) in Chrome 35, Ctrl+Click does not.
-
Yay for munging more base browser functionality?
-
If your website has JUST ONE link to content that can't be opened in a new tab with either middle clicking or ctrl+clicking, your website is a piece of shit and you are a failure as a developer.
