Zooming in mobile browser

Was trying to zoom in on a picture, but discourse thought I wanted to see it's logo and hamburger even larger...
Also, the topic title entry didn't capitalise the first word by default. Slightly annoying, but meh.

Which mobile phone are you using? Make / Model / OS Version / Browser / User-Agent setting?

Chrome, Android 4.2 on galaxy note 2. Same thing happens on default browser as well.

I am guessing that some css is not applied to mobile setting. Try changing user-agent to desktop version and tell us if you continue to get an error.

To zoom a picture, just click/tap on it. No need to manually zoom. Here's a giant picture for testing:

There is still one case where you might want to manually zoom, if the image is small.
Only large images get lightboxed, so for some reason if you wanted to zoom in on a regular sized image, you could run into zoom issues.

Didn't work in this case:
Clicking/tapping didn't do anything. Had to use browser's long press -> open in new tab.
Chrome 35, Android 4.3, Galaxy S3.

That screenshot is of an absurdly high manual zoom. How did that happen?

In the normal manner for zooming, and its little different to the screenshot in the OP.
