Anyone used YouTube's 'Collections' feature?

I've noticed some of my subscriptions are now churning out a rather large amounts of vids and I'm missing others, so I thought I'd create a collection.

But it seems YouTube doesn't want me to do that, or I'm missing how it works.

It says "Try it!" so I clicked "Create new collection" and got this:

Did you try a forced page refresh to ensure that all AJAXy content loaded successfully? Did you try turning off browser extensions which might interfere (AdBlock)? Did you try opening it in a private browsing session or a different browser to ensure that your cookies weren't broken?

Not really a WTF until you've tried all of those without success (although I'll grant you that if the first two things don't fix it, it'd be YouTube's own fault if its cookies were broken, so that's a WTF).
