What brands are targeted at them? Where can I find the next generation whoopie cushion?

Extra points for approaching a comedian for whom half of his material is mocking and deriding stupid products made by stupid companies.

Companies seem to do this all the time.  It's like the insurance company that fired Gilbert Gottfried a couple of years ago because of jokes he make about the tsunami that hit Japan. ("I lost my girlfriend in the tsunami.  But a few minutes later another one came floating by.") Maybe you should spend 5 minutes researching what kind of material a comedian does before you hire him.

Heh. I guess Oswalt is an influencer. This kind of reminded me of what happens when Popehat gets solicitations for guest posts. The marketing tag is full of Ken requesting guest posts on various aspects of the evilness of ponies. It's most fun when he gets a particularly clueless soul. The latest (as of the time of linkage) apparently figured out that she was being trolled.

This is a brilliant strategy.  Just ask the folks at AFLAC how Gilbert Gottfried worked out.
