Youtube WTF

  • Why the hell does Youtube recommend channels to subscribe to, which then when you click on them says "This channel is not available in your country" ! WTF Youtube?!  If I can't view the channel why the hell are your recommending that I should subscribe to it!!! GAH!!!

Even worse, if you do click the "Subscribe" link by accident they don't give you an easy way of unsubscribing, you have to go and find the channel via "Manage subscriptions" !

You can just click again on the "subscribe" button (than now says subscribed) to unsubscribe... It'll even change the text to "unsubscribe" when you hover over it.

That's just the thing though - that button doesn't exist for channels which are not available in your country.

If the channel is not available, why the fuck do they allow you to subscribe to it?

Even worse, why recommend it in the first place!?

    Youtube/Google, fix your shit!

Why would you even have subscribed to a channel to you have never seen?

Because I like to give content producers a chance - I subscribe and if the content is poor, I unsubscribe. I don't care what they have produced before.

Do you also subscribe to newsletters before reading the websites they go with?
