Paywall? Waaahhh!!!
Isn't there some ad-supported version of the site we can read? With our Ad Blockers on, of course.

Wait, you don't like the idea of paying $49/month to browse a website? How many browsers do you have?

They could at least give a few freebie articles-per-cookie like most paywalls do.
Oh well. It's their site, it's their choice who to show it to. But don't expect much conversation, Dhromed. Since we can't read it.

I thought even the first paragraph was enough.

So discussion over how most programmers spew lots of vitriol at each other when their opinions about tools (languages count as a tool, not just IDEs) differ?

I can see the article just fine. Then again, I have a New Scientist subscription, because I support content creators.
Leeches.

So let's see here... There are about 3000 issues of this magazine. Each one costs $1.77 to $2.70. Let's do some math:
We are given:
P+W = 2.06
W+S+T = 1.77
P+W+S+T = 2.70By adding the first two, we get, P+2W+S+T = 3.83.
We can subtract the third one from this result to get W = 1.13.
That is, it costs $1.13 to serve one issue of a magazine on a website to one person and make a profit over running costs.Further, we can subtract our new fifth equation from the first equation to get 0.93.
It costs less to print the magazine than it does to send it over the internet. Finally, we can subtract the fifth from the second and get S+T=0.64. It costs $0.64 to send a webpage to a smartphone or a tablet versus the $1.13 it takes to send it to a computer. This is because air is easier to move information through than solid copper wires.

I don't know, talking seems like a basic skill, electrical engineering not so much.
