Given your post count (3, and only this one is visible, and my emails from here show at least one other post which is presumably deleted - ah yes, the abortive attempt at linking, and - on another search - your first post)...
Sure it's not you? Nice feel-good story though - not sure how it'd play out here, where the sky is blue, and pigs dont fly however.

Yeah, well I posted this in the wrong category first so I removed that one. I had another post (or 2) in another thread, but somehow that one has gone, or the search is f'd up. Can't find it myself anymore either.
What's wrong with linking though? Should I have pasted the whole story? I guess not. But feel free to troll me if you think my attempt was an utter failure. I just felt like sharing something positive among all WTF annoyances we have to face on an almost daily basis (well, depends a bit on the job but anyway).

Not me. Wouldn't mind being that guy though.

+1Anyway, the story is good, it's some kind of climactic WTF or anti-WTF, I don't know which name could fit.
So why don't you come out of this silly anonymosity ?

According to The Urban Dictionary, anonymosity:
The attitude of people on forums or chat rooms brought about by the anonymous nature of the internet. Previously quiet or shy people become raging assholes.
Are you saying I'm a raging asshole? That's quite an accomplishment after just 4 or 5 posts I'd say. I must congratulate myself on the achievement. I keep impressing myself.
But no, still not that guy.

It's the default position for this site.
We also serve an excellent veal.

Where can I reserve a TABLE?

You'll need to talk to me about that.

Sounds good.
Could you PREPARE a TABLE for me please? Two UNIQUE places will do.

Table for you and your guests
CREATE TABLE [dbo].[test](
[LocationOfChair] [varchar](250) NOT NULL,
[PersonSeated] [varchar](250) NULL,
CONSTRAINT [PK_test] PRIMARY KEY CLUSTERED ( [LocationOfChair] ASC )Now I'm afraid you'll have to insert your own guests and you'll be sitting in different locales more than likely. Will that be all sir?

I can live with different locales, but a time stamp would be nice so we could at least see each other while consuming our digestives.
Too bad we can't sit in the same row though.

I'm not sure what the PROCEDURE of bringing friends is, but as long as you don't bring ALL of them, I suppose it's alright.

Is this the time when I post a link to a certain xkcd comic that makes fun of SQL injection, making everyone here groan, or am I too early for that cue?

Best article I've ever read. :0

LOL that's one way to go about things. Wish I could do the same (I'm a phlebotomist and the "office managers" are some nasty people, kinda amazing what people do the minute they have even a little bit of power). Maybe one day..
