I was looking up websites in Google under the keyword search keyboard usb

ranked on the first page for your primary keyword searches.... snip long offer for SEO shit ...
So either this is a screen-scraping bot that got my email off Slashdot, or I truly am the owner. In which case I better hire these guys, because sure enough, [url="https://www.google.ca/search?q=keyboard+usb+adapter"]my site isn't in the top 3 for those keywords[/url] when you look it up on Google.
Obviosuly I need more Meta tags. It doesn't take an Internet Specialst to know that!

Is this really a WTF any more? I got one the other day where the bright spark the other end had decided to put the entire email content into the subject line, HTML and all. My email client nearly choked! They often just scrape a random page and attach the first address to the domain the page sits on, hence how you got that email. Heck, this is almost par for the course now, not really a wtf so much as a 'meh, this again'

My coworkers do that all the time. On purpose. :(I don't know what is worst - emails without subject or emails with the entire message in the subject. Both are really unpleasant on a company-issued Crackberry.

You mean "NB!!" or "URGENT!"? Yes sir. Those get an automatic 30 minute response delay -- semi-sanctioned by my boss, even! Ifwhen they get angry about it, I inform them that if it's really so important, they need to get up and walk up to my desk instead. Thus I can use their laziness against them. Their laziness is both what makes everything URGENT, but also gives me plenty of time to ignore them. I guess it balances itself out.

No. That's totally different. "NT" means "no text", that is, "no text in email body", that is, "you don't need to actually open this email it's just a subject line". It has no relation with urgency.

That's exactly what it's like, except it's two characters (or three if you type n/t). It's an acknowledgement that yes, indeed, this is blank. No, I didn't click SEND too early. No, Exchange didn't eat the body. Concider:

Body:But the second email, someone forgot to paste the following text:

Then you go and help yourself to three slices of pizza and walk away. The charity's out $15, and you're a thieving asshole who hates puppies. Good job.

I've seen it, as well as NC=no content.
Not at work though - subjects tend to be at least semi-relevant to the content of the email. Unless it drags on and drifts off into sub-threads that have no direct connection to do with the subject of the first email. Bit like on here really - this thread being an example...

Can't hurt to do both. I think the "in the body" route covers anyone with a preview pane or New Mail Notification that shows the first sentence of a new email.

To avoid confusion I usually put n/t but I change the font color to white. So it's there but it looks like it's not. Win-win.
