I wonder what inspired that IBM engineer?
-
I'm sure they have a good reason / argument for this, buuuttt... I'd just feel too dirty to use that laptop...

One word: Nipples
now look at it again....

What is the point of 2 pointing devices?

You're not old enough to have played Robotron, are you?

Nipples? So what if they resemble nipples... We all have them. Except for that captain in the movie "Around the world in 80 days" with Jackie Chan. Don't you dare to touch nipples or what? Oh, wait... That would be your first time you play with them?... [:P][:P][:P]
Just kidding...Just couln't resist it. [:D]
-
As opposed to some people who play with them all the time, huh? Katja?
Just couldn't resist :D
-
Lol, well that's what they are for, aren't they? [:P]

This conversation is obscene! I'm appalled. [:$]

No, it's just you opening your dirty mind again... [;)] I'm completely innocent...
-
Huh-huh-huh. She said "dirty". Huh-huh-huh.
-
Stop playing with your nipples, CPound. You're starting to talk funny... [H]
-
It is obvious. He can't have enough of the PS2 controller. There are two more trigger buttons underneath.
-
Okay, I have to tell the truth and say that when those Thinkpads first came out we used to call that mouse thing the "Clittermouse".
Honest.
Some of the guys in the team had a lot of trouble finding it, too...
[;)]
-
Don't know why that would be so difficult to find. I'd never have trouble at that. I'm smart... [;)]
-
I have been told that it's easy to find the clittermouse if you are a woman - don't understand why, probably an IBM design thing, or maybe just because you are smart...
Maybe the huge part of the brain that is normally used for buying shoes can be re-trained to find the clittermouse (on a thinkpad)? Maybe IBM have realised that...
Just a theory [8-)]
-
While I find the nipple comments amusing, I have another perspective...
Perhaps one nipple is for the X axis and the other for the Y axis?
-
Don't start talking about the Y axis here because it gives the guys here a wrong idea immediately. It's already bad enough when they see (.)(.) so when they start thinking about that other thing (Y) they really become crazy.
Oh, well... I guess they're just oversexed... [:P]
-
Oh yeah, thats definately the problem here.... OVERsexed.
-
Well, mentally, anyhow... [8-|]

Speaking of IBM engineering WTF's
I believe way back, during the engineering and subsequent sales of IBM
XT's, the engineering diagrams, and even some user documentation, shows
a device within the machine called an AMD.
AMD stands for Air Movement Device, or, 'Fan'
