Since I mute Meta (so a bunch of non-blue-circle-bearing threads stay out of my blue-circle-reliant world), I never saw this. Intentional, or no?

Generally, the taking of medication implies an "acceptance" that a cure is required. The impression I get around here is that Discourse is in denial of the whole concept of the need for medication.

When you pin something you have to give it an end date. I have no idea what I put in, but it probably expired by now.
