What's wrong about this, other than the refreshing honesty about the nature of fan fiction?

The fact it's on Amazon, and they're expecting payment for something (in general) that can be obtained for free? Or just the fact it's badly written. Or the cross-genre gap.

In the 25 years since ST:TNG first aired, I'm reasonably sure that the phrase "Teenage Fuck Machine" has never been associated with Wesley Crusher.

Make sure you check the sample page. It truly is the epitome of its type. Among many more glaring faults, the author can't even keep a consistent tense in 15 sentences of truly awful writing.
At $3.99 I'd say it's overpriced by at least $6.

The comments say similar.

It has often been said that making porn more easily available is what made the VCR so popular. After a quick look at Amazon, it appears that people are trying to do the same with the Kindle.

Don't get me started. I just had to uninstall and re-install iTunes for the 3rd time in 3 months. It's for an iPod, but same thing. What a horrendous piece of shit. I really would like to find the programmers responsible for iTunes so I can shoot them in the face with a hammer.

Yeah, it's crazy. Some guy tweeted that Apple just passed C.H.O.A.M.'s market cap.

My issue with Apple is not actually with Apple, but with the stereotype of people who are crazy over Apple products. They come across as stuck up upper class computer user that act like they superior to others because they have an i<object>. Because of this I do not want to get mixed into that stereotype so I avoid Apple products. Instead, I keep to being abused by Microsoft for Windows and stalked by Google which knows more about me than I do.

Isn't that behaviour just reinforcing that stereotype?

Only if you want it to be.
Other human nature is to go against the flow and not care what people think around you, ie: not letting preconceptions dictate your choices.
It's just a matter of if you want to be a slave to it or not.

Some people go against flow for sake of going against flow. I hate iPad club is one such group only.

Of course there's no legitimate reason people might dislike an overpriced piece-of-shit like the iPad.

sigh I wasn't being 100% factual, Nagesh, it was a fucking insult. And India is still poor-as-shit which is why it's funny you'd be making that point. Most of your countrymen couldn't afford an iPad if they saved all year.

Not only are you not factual, but you're completely misleading. Check on iPad and iPhone sales in India and you will know what I am talking about

There's no denying it needs work - the question is whether or not you wish to expend that effort.

And it will be rendered obsolete within a year, and you'll have to redevelop your app for the new version because Apple's idea of targeting multiple iOS devices requires your app to have a separate UI developed for each device you might encounter.I'm late, but FTFY.

Something I saw yesterday in TIME magazine:46.9%: The proportion of India’s 246.6 million households that have access to toilet facilities, according to the country’s latest census data. “In stark contrast, 63.2% of the households own a telephone connection - 53.2% of [them] mobile phones,” reports the Hindu.
