I'd really like it if Alex adjusted the spacing of this box:
to be more like this:
It makes the topics much more discernable from each other and thus easier to click.
-
I'd like it if clicking the "reply" button made the get URL have "quote=True" (rather than false) appended. Is there a profile setting for that?
TinyMCE seems reluctant to add the quote in -I've had to click the "quote" button several times before it's worked (or is that just me?)
Agree on what you mean about the sidebar. Looks like just a case of and adding a padding: or spacing: in the CSS for "CommonSidebarContent li", but don't know what else that could impact (and too lazy to fire up Firebug to play with it)

Ditto.

You have to wait for the page to completely finish loading before the "Quote" button works.

okay, just me being impatient. I've found manually tweaking the end of the URL is quicker.
(no idea why TinyMCE takes so long. Surely the .js is cached? Or is it just the browser taking some time to render the editor?)

Probably from loading all of the tag abuse that happens around here.

Opposed. That way lies Redundant FullQuote Hell. You are encouraged to pick and choose from the post you're quoting from.
You knew you can select text and then click Quote?

Yup - hence why I'd like it as a per-user configurable option, rather than blanked foisted upon everyone.
Even if it *was* foisted upon everyone, I don't think forum users here will demonstrate AOL behaviour.

I can?
I have to click "reply"... wait for the page to load
- then wait for TinyMCE to appear...
- then click "quote", wait for the text to copy into TinyMCE...
- then wait for TinyMCE to transform the HTML into RTF
.. then I can begin trimming/amending/forging^Hadding content. There a quicker way to the "Quote" operation I've missed?

Highlight the text you want to quote and click quote.

Which, in the SideBar is on the order of 500K.

I should be so evil as to create a truly random tagger.
But I am not that evil.

Or salmiakki equivalent.
What sort of salmiakki hasn't he gotten yet? It's tough making out the products from the picture. (I guess most of them have already expired so it shouldn't matter too much.)

Salmiakki expires?

May I threaten you with another delicacy of Finland, tar-flavoured sweets? Actually, tar everything, including ice cream. Maybe I can find a salmiakki + tar combination. Or perhaps Alex would enjoy mämmi, a traditional easter dessert:
-
Man, neither salmiakki nor mämmi are doing the trick. How does one attract Alex's attention here, anyway?
-
Hey. Something happened. Thanks, Alex!

I bet it was because I bought 5 € worth of salmiakki yesterday.
