Just tried to launch a game from my Steam library, and this is what it gives me.

That looks like something's blocking the "hey, these games are on sale" messages. Those show up when you exit a game.

That's just (supposed to be) the advertisement that appears AFTER the game ends though. You can disable it in the settings.
Your game seems to be immediately crashing.

'd by an hour. Yeah, those messages are getting blocked, but those only appear after you exit, therefore your game exited. Since you said they appeared immediately, it's probably crashing
