    ⚫ I apologize in advance if anyone tries to decipher the following function

    ⚫ function (a) { function b(b, c) { function c(e, f) { var g = []; for (var h = 0; h < 50; h++) { g[h] = h*h*h; } var i = h[0] + h[2] + h[34]; var j = function (k, l) { return k + 2 * l; } if (j(i, e+f) == 25) { f++; } return f + j(2*e, i[49]); } if (c(b + c, 2 * c) <= 8) { return "a = 67"; } else { return c * 3 + b / 2; } } if (typeof (a = b(15.3, a / 7)) == "string") { eval(a); } else { return a; } return null; }

    *The seemingly insignificant decimal places are indeed significant.

  • Well, you do save on processor time if you use mergesort instead of, say, bubblesort, so they are somewhat right about the savings.

    I'm more shocked about the word they chose to replace year. Dat annum.

  • Is that first function a broken strcmp() that would consider "boobs" and "toads" to be identical strings?

  •  No, it's a contains() function, it's comparing a to each element of b.

    If that evaluates in any way to "Never gonna give you up" I'll be more impressed than annoyed.

    I really love the ingenious choice of colors in their logo. So much so that I had to update my avatar.

    Well, yes, it looks nice, well done, derula, ... but ... your avatar no longer matches TDWTF color scheme. I don't think the Board of Acceptable Avatars would approve it should an inquiry be raised.

    You could leave the background the drab gray, and then made the ruler and your name the purple/green colors.

    I can't speak for derula, but I've finished my tasks for the day. Now I either have to kill the next two hours, or go home early... it's such a tough decision.

    I have noticed that there is less activity here on weekends, which would seem to imply that most people are posting from work.

    (I have time to type this because Outlook lost connection with its server, so its whole GUI is frozen now, taking down other bits of Windows with it, inhibiting my ability to continue writing my emails... Let's see if Spectate is still alive, this will be a while...)
