What's the deal with Community Server recently?

  • It hasn't puked all over itself in many months, it's making me twitchy and nervous...

  • 🚽 Regular

The action of you voluntarily posting a < 200-character post cued CS to think all posts afterwards should. Good going, Blakey.

  • I've had my share of pain with Community Server, but it was mostly due to me being unable to find an option anywhere in the admin panels to turn on a Captcha on the user registration, and the spam-filtering was innefective.

I've seen some people here complaining about CS, but I haven't seen any WTF bigger than taking certain special characters on the tag cloud. What other problems has it had in its past with TDWTF?

I didn't answer because I assumed he was trolling. Now that you opened the spigot...

Ignoring the past, try composing a new message right now in the present using Chrome. CS is actively not-working every minute of every day.

There's a thread around here somewhere all about posting stuff that will break Community Server. It's a fun read. I'm not arsed enough to find it for you.

At least one thing that's never broken is CS's "Go To Last Unread Message in Thread" button. Of course, it's hard to break something that doesn't exist...
