Pricing problems

  •  Just seen this

Basically - The same page states that the price of 'Hour Shape' is £24.99 AND the same page is advertising this product at £19.99 - incidentally, clicking the ad link goes back to this page showing £24.99 and the advert again.

I actually found this by doing a google products search for this product which stated that it was £19.99.

I know, TRWTF is computing exercise tools

    TRWTF is PC World :-)

  • I'd like to know how you seen it. Is seening something different that sawing it?

TRWTF is not knowing the language, be it C, VB, Perl or English.

  • In the Netherlands a store has to sell you a product for the price they advertised with unless an obvious mistake has been made (e.g. €4,99 instead of €499), even if the price tag in the store or register has another price

Saved me €0,30 on an (supermarket) apple-pie once. Had to argue for 30 minutes with the manager and show him the printout of the law I had taken with me but it was worth the lulz (and the €20 bet I had on it)

Perfectly standard English English. It's a contraction of 'I have just seen this'.

If you crop and resize your images to fit on the forum, it keeps escaped Jurassic Park raptors from eating your toes at night.

My grandfather used to tell a story about a hobo during the Depression.  (Er, the other Depression.)  He goes to a farmhouse looking for a handout and the farmer's wife points at a pile of wood and says "You see that pile of wood over there?"  The hobo answers "Maybe you saw me see it, but you ain't gonna see me saw it."

    It's called Muphry's [sic!] law.
