µTorrent can bend time

So last night I decided to download a... hm, let's say it was a Linux ISO, because it totally was. I swear.
Well, anyway, I went to sleep after midnight and let it open downloading the files.
Today 5pm I checked the stats out of curiosity and was greeted by this:
I'm still wondering how was it possible that I uploaded more today than (today + yesterday) -- I have not closed the program since yesterday, so it's the same instance/session. The same holds true for downloaded totals.
Other than that, I've been using µTorrent for a few years and it's not a shitty software (that is, apart from the fact EVERY p2p network prior to torrent had the search function on the software, not having to rely on external files indexing/tracking the stuff, THAT is TRWTF)

Where are the stats for "yesterday"? Basically all those numbers add up. Do the docs specify a definition of "this run"?
And seriously... 356GB downloaded? That's a lot of pr0n, dude... but at least it explains those 113026 "handshakes"...

Well, I'd like to know, there should be a positive difference. They don't actually show "yesterday" 's values but they should, you know, add up properly. And, I'm too lazy to look at the docs. But the stats in, let's say, emule were much more precise. Not that it really matters, utorrent works (in a more weird way than other P2P networks, but the end result is fine). Just a minor stats-related WTF here.

I have µTorrent since 2008. That's an average of less than 10GB/month - and there were months when I'd rarely download anything. Of those 356GB, less than 6 (maybe less than 3) are pr0n. (Most are music -- cahem, podsafe audio, I swear mr officer -- movies and tv series -- originally released as torrents, let's say -- open source / free software, etc...)
On the other hand (no pun intended), who needs pr0n torrent when you got youporn, red tube, x videos or a wonderful meta-pr0n-video-site indexing it all? (VERY NSFW, needless to say).

That's nothing. My Steam client can download .183 internets per second.

I still don't see where the numbers don't add up: Uploaded this run: 430 MB Uploaded Today: 551 MB (This tells me that you uploaded in more than one run on that day.)
As far as P2P networks are concerned... BitTorrent is not a network, it's a protocol. Every torrent is essentially it's own little file-sharing network.

I am not a torrent user so maybe I am missing something. Your total session upload was 146 GB and your upload for today was 551 MB. So today you uploaded a little less than 4% of your total upload.

OK now I think I see the issue. But it really all depends on what a "run" is. If a run is all traffic since the program was started, yes it makes no sense. But if a run is the time since all outbound connections were idle, or if a run refers to a single peer connection it could make sense.
