No, but they can do worse:

The spam I've been getting lately is all ads for Russian mail-order brides.
Except they're from Saudi Arabia. Apparently they're too lazy to use an email address with a Russian domain, or to use Russian-sounding names for themselves. It's sad.

They're probably advertising The Nameless Mod... and can't spell 00n correctly.

My bet is they just want to confirm your email address and they're going way out of their way to do it.

Just wait until you get the one that has no text in the body, and has "Respond with information Name: _____________ Email: ___________" in the subject.

Well, not quite, but almost.

On the other hand, anyone who does bite at that bait must be exceptionally gullible and eager to be fleeced, so maybe it serves as an effective way of filtering out the lower-quality marks? While also saving the spammers time and effort...

I respond to those emails all the time. I love dodgy emails from mystery pen pals! Last one I received was just a few days ago claiming to be some lonely refugee princess chick with a ton of cash who just happened to find my personal email somehow. Sounds legit to me! Naturally, I am now in correspondence. It's unfortunate when the scammer accidentally re-sends the original plea email instead of something new, but I roll with it anyway. I'm sure the refugee princess was just having copy-paste problems.
