Just be yourself

  • Wow, someone's never met Rich B.

  •  She's Fake, obviously.

  • Caterina Fake really inspired me. I am now open to unveil my identity to the Internet as well. My real name is:

    Hans Anonymous

I wish to be called by that from now on. Thanks.

  •  People still spew that shit? Even now when even the average Facebook sinpleton has figured out how disclosing his identity can blow up in his face?

    What shit is that?

If you take away accountability, everything goes to shit. This is not up for debate. It's why Youtube's comments are shit, and players of sandbox games often do the weirdest shit. Hell, now that I'm pretty much the most powerful thing roaming the wasteland, a god unto men, I contemplated going on a killing spree and just murdering everyone. I also went and killed Fawkes. Why? Because I had a saved game. No consequences => no ethics.

    PS.
Caterina Fake is her real name. Perhaps this is known to y'all, but that wasn't apparent form the thread, and it also significantly decreases the irony-funny content of the OP.

Nothing moderation can't fix. And where's no moderation... well, let it be known that here there be retards. People have to be retarded somewhere. At least they do so on specific corners of the web, so we know to steer clear (or visit just to laugh at them, take your pick). The alternative is random people being able to track down every little thing you ever said (thanks Google), take it out of context and use it against you.

And you may be the most powerful thing roaming the wasteland, but real men have been to the mothership.

  • I prefer this line of conversation.

I don't think I'll be getting the expansions. It's just more of same.

Maybe New Vegas due to its hardcore mode, but eh.

Yes, her real name is Fake.  That's seems pretty funny/ironic to me.

Well, the game mechanics are the same, but I did enjoy Mothership Zeta far more than the others because of the whole 50s evil aliens b-movie theme. Retro "futuristic" weapons, green aliens, human experimentation... you even get together with a bunch of recently defrosted abductees from different historical eras, which made for some fun dialogue. Besides, cramped hallways + bottlecap mines. Need I say more?

    Points taken, but:

    1.  I'm not much of a stickler for retro stuff per se. I think F3 is pretty but not because its retro.
    2. I'm not a miner. I prefer sharpshootin' / snipin' and stealth. You know, one bullet, one kill. Sometimes I have a taste for things like Gatling laser, but the other big guns seem underpowered so not much fun to be had there (minigun is shitty, rocket launcher is astoundingly weak.)
    3. I prefer urban environments to open field or cramped hallways. Perhaps you can generalize that to "semi-enclosed" environments.

Hey, maybe someone can recommend a game based on those requirements. :)

I should install Manhunt again. It was really well-executed, even though it was relatively simple and short. The tactic of taking out a group of enemies one by one using stealth and sneak criticals is one that I use often in F3. Then after a good culling, I'd charge forward and peg the rest with a full complement of AP. Lootz!

Though I usually went for the quick kill anyway.

    It's my style.

I actually do the same with packaging. I try to find a sweet spot where it all comes off easily, instead of ripping it off caveman-style.

    Sometimes I fail.

Then I rip it off caveman-style.
