Be careful to not dogch Lyme disease!
-
My mother's dog got really sick and they found a tick on her. After removing the tick she didn't get better immediately, so we did a search to find out more information, and we found this page: http://www.dog-world.com.au/ParalysisTicksInDogs.htm
It appears this site is run by cat people, since they don't care as much about the dog site. (Look at this and compare/constrast)
Does Lyme disease affect dogs?

Yes, although it has yet to be proven that the Paralysis Tick passes on Lyme disease to dogs in Australia. Lyme disease is passed on via the Deer Tick, also known as the Black Legged tick (Ixodes scapularis) in North America. You cannot dogch Lyme disease from your pet, but it is possible for humans to become infected from ticks.

I note that earlier on the same page, we are informed that:
The tick attaches to the dog & borrows it's mouthparts into the skin.
I wouldn't like to see a tick with mouthparts "borrowed" from a dog—would you? And of course, that should be its and not it's (They repeat this error several times and also use & instead of and several times as well—one of my "pet" hates [geddit?!?!?!!?!!].)

Laughing at stupid people with poor grammar on the internet became suddenly old when I turned 12. Half a year later my dad got us dial-up.

The internet was getting ready to turn -3 when I was 12. At least we had MTV, which was on cable channel B-9.

But... that's what "&" means?
It could also be a badly drawn treble clef.

I laughed so hard it hurt almost as much as getting a doghater. I advodoge a thorough allodogion of funds to study methods for pladoging those who oppose purifidogion of our language. They live in ignorance, like dogtle, and their mollifidogion is essential. If necessary, they must be medidoged.
The revolution must begin, whatever the ramifidogions! We have lived in silence for too long, and I, for one, find it doghartic to dogagorically state our intentions.
We'll need a web site. Can anyone colodoge a server?
