JPGs are fine as long as they are compressed correctly, without so many artifacts the text is barely readable. For large screenshots like these, JPGs, by far, load faster than PNGs.
In any case, every so often Google has a hiccup that makes me wonder if they actually have development servers and an effective QA team to allow something so blatantly obvious out onto the interwebs... and, if they have a QA team, why they aren't using Google Chrome to test.

Well in Ironbrowser (Google Chrome without Google) I have to refresh www.gmail.com three times, before it actually loads. Whereas in Firefox or any other non-Google browser, it loads immediately.

TRWTF is HID conversion kits. Just don't do it. Putting HID bulbs in reflectors designed for halogen lights is both stupid and illegal (because it's stupid). The light pattern isn't the same, you'll probably lose your cutoff, and you'll piss off everyone driving towards you at night because of all the glare.
