I love the thumbnail Chrome has created for this forum

That's a representative screen shot if ever I saw one.

yours is way more epic.

not me.....
but at least we get a thumbnail....
(not sure why that's on my top 8 sites. i only visit about once a month to fiddle with some IP addresses.

I especially like the overlaid ?! favicon. Quite sums the feeling of encountering a forever-loading page...

That's the same thumbnail I get, too.

You guys are lucky. I don't even get a thumbnail. (Probably because I never actually open it; it's just always open.)

Same here.

I don't believe either one of you. Because eventually Discurse will use up all your memory and the browser, or perhaps the OS, will crash.

I do occasionally have to close and reopen Chrome (but only once a week, maybe, unless I've been watching lots of stuff on YouTube, which seems to be the biggest memory abuser for me). I don't see the ever-growing memory issues that other people see. It uses a lot (I currently have 3 Discourse tabs open: this one @ ~462MB, my profile @ ~70MB, and the emoji FAQ @ ~83MB; the GPU process is the biggest @ ~525MB, and about a million other tabs), but it seems to plateau, rather than continuing to grow.
Chrome reopens all my open windows and tabs when I restart it. Apparently that doesn't cause Chrome to consider this a frequently-opened site.

But the crash happens less often than the opening of at least 8 other sites.

My Firefox thumbnail is a fair description too:

Yeah, but then you've got Firefox on you.

Can you easily refresh the thumbnails in Chrome? Because in Firefox you can't and it drives me crazy.
