What's up with the links at the top of the page?

  • In any forum, when you're on the page with the list of threads, there are 3 links at the top, for example:

TDWTF Forums » The Daily WTF » General Discussion

The first two take you to exactly the same place.  Why do you need two links that are the same?  And the third one takes you to the page that you are already on.  Why is it even a link at all?  I guess the Daily WTF must have it's own share of WTFs.

They're not the same, the second page doesn't show the OMG WTF forum.

Also known, in more intimate circles, as the Moderator's forum.

I also think it's handy if the last link links the current page. That way, when you're performing quote acrobatics or writing a large post, you can middle-click on it, and have the original thread open in a new tab.

Wait, what? When did we start using the public OMG WTF contest forum for moderator discussions?

Seems like you're not intimate enough (with dhromed) yet.

Hah, I'd actualy forgotten about that one, because I keep it lolled up, and the title is just unreadable noise in my periferal vision.
