Ok, so a bunch of big email scams are going around where someone sends you your own password from an old breach and threatens to release a video of you watching porn unless you send them bitcoin.
Obviously, we can't find the person who sent the email based on the bitcoin address, BUT:
- Why is there no system for flagging a bitcoin address as "involved in a scam"?
- Since every bitcoin transaction ever is recorded forever, that system could be used to prevent money from scams from being withdrawn.
- Since that money would never be allowed to be withdrawn, bitcoin-to-bitcoin transactions would also avoid dealing with that address.

@ben_lubar I just got one of those emails yesterday. Problem was it was a password I haven't used in a decade or so, plus I only have cameras on my laptops, which I didn't own at that time. My desktop (which is what I had then) didn't (and doesn't) have a camera.
