Totally ignoring the fact that this happened on the device I use most often.
When I'm at work, anyway.
(And, incidentally, for accessing Yahoo!)

And none of the reset mechanisms are working - it sends the code, I enter the code, and it brings me back to this screen.
And not much of value was lost...

What do you expect? It's the cause of the world shortage in exclamation marks, after all…

@pjh Help an ESL here. What is so egregiously wrong here?

"get sign you in" makes no sense.
It should probably be "get you signed in" - that's the closest to the wording they've got, but it's a pretty egregious error. It's not just a mixing of words or something, someone either blanked hard or this was written by someone ESL or something.
EDIT: Or remove "get" and make it "sign you in". That would work too...

Right. It's surprising I missed that.
I guess my mind is used to seeing so many such mistakes it subconsciously auto-corrects them.

What's more egregious, is that it's been like that for months.

So considering modern development standards it's a feature

That. So much that.

I keep forgetting I have an account there.
And every time I'm reminded I can't resist logging in to see the spam.Oh, look, a rare legit email!
Oh, right, I can't get it because popup, one moment...
Oh yeah! That was a thing... How is that going on by the way?
Oh, right... Wait, where is that password reset email?
Also... apparently Yahoo is progressive enough that they encourage you to not have security questions...

What about: we cannot get you signing in on this device? Because you would not like to do so on this device, anyway, would you?
