The "That would be a good name for a x" thread

Pretty much what the title says, though let's try to stick to ones which haven't been used by someone yet (not always easy, since there are tons of obscure examples out there). It doesn't have to be a band or album name, though I am thinking that's sort of the default given the "running joke" status of the phrase.
Let me start with:
"Beyond the Second Sphincter"
"Glasgow Handshake"
"The Art of Whore"
-
"Death Treat"
-
"Sampoong HVAC"
"Marketing Bullshit Festival"
"Loaner Tanks"
"Sonic Reptilian Unicorn"Filed Under: "Helpful Corn"? But do you spell it with two 'y's?
-
The Diphthongs, for a band name. Spell as you like. Also, "Piso Mojado".
-
On a Sled.

Lemon Party Taliban Rodeo

Also, "Piso Mojado".
Many years ago, I was disappointed to learn that "piso" did not mean "wet".

And that it wasn't an imperative.

Many moons ago, I considered a number of band names. These are a few I recall:
a filk band: "Starfleet Academy Dropouts" or "SAD"
a rap parody band: "Tōn Def and Flava Ice feat. Ice-Nine"My real idea, however, was a prog-rock band called - yeah, seriously - "Sir Real and the Asymptotic Gophers", whose band logo featured a knight with a hole through his chest (Salvador Dali style, not a like a wound) riding an human-scale H. sparsa. The first two album titles were to be "The Hole Man" and "Turning the Page" (with the cover art showing the knight turning a young boy on a spit over a fire).
I don't recall why I thought this was amusing. Did I mention that I have no musical talent at all, and my attempts at songwriting have all been abysmal?
I also once recommended a friend use the album title "A Hand of Aoi Bridge". As appalling as that title is, if you knew my friend you'd get the reasoning behind it. He's an electronica/noise instrumentalist and loves doing dirge-like tone poem stuff, so it wouldn't be as bad as it sounds at first. Still, it would be a pretty tasteless title.
Could be worse. This same friend has mentioned in the past that he knew a thrash metal band who were going to release an album titled "Lampshades and Soap". :do-not-want:

Back in the K-Tel seventies, I decided the best name for a band would be "Many, Many More". Those TV ads always used to list the artists you could find on the latest mail-order compilations: "Hits by KC and the Sunshine Band! Olivia Newton-John! The Commodores! The Doobie Brothers! And Many, Many More!"
Figured they'd either have to change every commercial to eliminate the iconic phrase, include at least one of our songs on every album they sold, or we could sue 'em for false advertising.

band names
The Noise Extravaganza Billy Gibbons Experience
Pork Roast Semi-Conductor
-
A Thousand Screaming Argonauts
(It's a line from Birdhouse In Your Soul.)
-
The Ephemeral Antelopes
Ostrich Salad
-
I always liked the idea of calling a band I Don't Know But I Like Them.
As in:
Who's this song by?
I don't know, but I like them
-
@jaloopa I'm amazed a web search for these guys worked well.

The Random Word Salad.
At least that way you can concentrate on the melody and leave the text to, say, a Markov chain text generator.

@pie_flavor IDGI.

I thought @pie_flavor was suggesting IDGI as a band name.
"What's your band's name?"
"IDGI."
"I don't get it."
"Yes."
-
Band Name.
-
In the early days of search engines, trying to look up "The The" would return no hits and probably a message complaining that you hadn't supplied any search terms.

Spectate Swamp
-
Thread Necromancy!
Filed Under: That's the suggested name. The fact that it is also what I just did is beside the point.

"The Reanimated Corpse of Celine Dion" was always going to be the name of my punk band.
Unless Celine Dion dies, then it's no longer funny.

Think of all those websites out there debunking the rumor that Abe Vigoda is dead. I'll bet most of them haven't been updated since he did die.
