I don't think that would stand up in court...

I guess the expected course of action is to hack the box into pieces to get inside, leaving the seal intact?

    Who writes these things??

  •  Obviously the expected course of action is to break the seal and be too intimidated to demand your money back if you don't like the contents. AFAICT, the expectation is met most of the time.

  • Been there, done that. As often, common sense is one thing, common practice another.

  • So how exactly do we read the enclosed terms and conditions without breaking the seal? Do we need one of those fancy x-ray machines they use for staring at people's wieners at the airport?

You don't have a WienerVision home model?

Maybe you should let him borrow yours, Morb...

  •  Hmm, I guess I'd cut my way through the side of the box, leaving the seal inviolate.

I'd love to see their reaction when someone does that.

Actually I think the best action to take would be cutting around the label before sending it back so it looks more deliberate and less "I'm sending it back because my dog tried to eat it".

Sorry Morb. :) You set yourself up for it though, and I couldn't resist...
