Choice of shipping payment WTF

  • I would hate to be this person's tongue...

I think it might have been easier to just go with a courier service.

  • Stuff like that, I always bring to the post office because the pricing on the TNT website never seem to apply and I don't have an accurate enough scale anyway.

  • My post office would have gone "Oh, its for him!" because I get packages like that on a fairly regular occasion. This doesn't beat the time I sent a can of Ovaltine in the mail. The can's lid was big enough to fit a CD in, so I had sent a friend of mine a can of ovaltine and some F/OS Christmas music. It arrived to him just shortly before christmas (I sent it black friday) in a plastic bag, with industrial tie straps holding around the package. The reason? It was wrapped in kraft paper and held together with mass amounts of packing tape; however some of the ovaltine had leaked out from the can and gotten out. Vanilla Ovaltine looks a lot like anthrax he found out. The can itself was in decent shape and the CD survived, but my postmaster looked at me and went "Y'know, more packing tape would have only made it look like a bomb".

  •  Most likely a reformed stamp collector looking for ways to dispose of his now unwanted collection.

There's another phrase for the list of phrases I never thought I'd hear/read but have anyway.

Given the frenetic, disjointed nature of your writing, cocaine would have been my first guess.

  •  Was anyone else expecting a homemade Rubik's Cube?

  •  I almost hate to ask, but is F/OS in this context intended to mean "Free and Open Source?" The follow-up question being, obviously, "WTF?" (Also, I didn't know that existed, now I have one more thing to add to my list of things to avoid at all costs.)

    Oh.

Oh, Jesus shit.  You have got to be fucking me.

    Me, or him?

I Googled F/OS and came up with nada, but I've seen F/OSS to mean "Free and Open Source Software" a dozen times so...

I kind of hope my guess is right, then I'll have some new media to mercilessly ridicule. Maybe we'll hit the jackpot and it'll somehow features furries too.

That's what I took it for, too, which is why it was the stupidest thing I've read since the last thing Indrora wrote.

If it's Open Source, it's pretty much guaranteed to have a couple of furries in there.

Yeah, but at least it was accompanied with a picture of stamps instead of a picture of Brittney Spears.
