@raceprouk
I debated whether "streak" as a swypo for "strike" would be obvious enough or not

That explains the drop in productivity and the decrease in quality.

Canton: The upper left (hoist) corner of a flag, separate from the base. On U.S. or British Commonwealth flags the 'canton' is also called the 'union'.
I'll presume the other one is obvious.

I know that each field has its jargon, but really, what can you be doing with flag that requires giving a special name to one quarter of it??
(and now you've made me curious, what are the names of the other quarters? on US/British flags? on non-US/British flags?)
-
-
@raceprouk Oh so it's just the same thing as heraldry, just describing the flag. I'm disappointed, I was hoping that flag-lovers would do something more interesting with them. Even collecting miniature trains is more interesting, at least you can make them move.
Back to the topic, my kind of union:

Next you'll tell us you have a YT Channel called 'Fun with Flags'

Because some flags do something special with that quarter of it.

It's a mystery.

It's a mystery.
With hindsight, I think the question presumed it was a quarter of that particular flag, not flags in general.

Yes. I was hoping for some weird factoid where the upper-left corner has to use a slightly different shade of white than the other corners if the flag is that of a rear-admiral of the Mediterranean fleet, but only if he's not aboard his flagship and the current monarch is facing left on the pound coins.
That, of course, being justified by what happened the eleventeenth of Mapril 342 BC.
Edit: This is also an union:
Feature request: add

.Edit edit: not to be confused with this union.

Still a union, just one that'll be a bit smaller in 2019.

@djls45 Guy? There are no males in that picture... a dress and a tuxedo, yes, but that doesn't say who is wearing them, though I am pretty sure it's a case of TTFJYI anyway, so... whatev'.

Also why is the butch one wearing the white dress? I assume the one with short nails is butch.
