I remember seeing that website that tries to guess the symptoms of something on here before where you got your sig. Do you remember the url to that sight.

I was thinking 100% the same. I mean: okay, for a free site with interesting content it's only natural ads are needed, but for an commercial site? I also immidiatly knew the answer: because advertisers are willing to pay for them. More income + Little extra cost => More profit

Yeah, it's just as crazy as having ads in a supermarket or department store!

Your supermarkets have that? must be america. In Holland it's usually only for things the store sells at a discount at the moment or for special offers (e.g. buy goods worth €15 and get a €15 discount on ticket to amusement park X), and they are quite rare and not too large. I've never seen a large banner for a charity or something like that, like that amazon thing.
