Someone decided to play a prank with the lecture system and the mailing list. Where's the WTF?

It happens quite often, usually with real students.

Three mails?

It's not the real WTF, but I did a double-take because I thought you were talking about http://student.wfu.edu for half a second there.

"Blah"? That's a funny name for "Google's cache"!@tdb said:

Missing the URL within the mail, thus revealing that WTFU is in blah.

Does this happen to be the uni I was at? The IP addresses there look QUITE similar.
in that case, greetings to SK if he appears at eridyke again.

As for the content of the email, it's not so much of a WTF if you consider that WTFU is probably using a single-sign-on system that doesn't allow the site behind "electures.informatik.wtf.edu" to reset passwords. (But the site can reset passwords for accounts not using SSI, thus the error message.)

You can still see the original uncensored version of the post (second top result after the edited version) if you google for "RecordedLectures-Portal electures.informatik edu". If that has gone by the time you check it, well, google "electures.informatik", there's only one of them out there.

Nope, this is a Cable and Wireless Germany IP. It's a DNS server I use sometimes because the IP is quite easy to remeber.

Wait, what? You "anonymized" the post by framing up an innocent third-party? Are you employing the Chewbacca defence or something?@OperatorBastardusInfernalis said:
