Last year, I had to trek up to an exam centre to take the two parts of the DELF (Diplôme d'Education de la Langue Française) to get a certificate to show the French naturalisation authorities that I can function in French at the required level.
Near the centre, there was a petrol station that also had an LPG tank, clearly labelled as such on the side.

@steve_the_cynic Around my high school (in France) was a big building for teachers' training and stuff, called the Regional Centre for Pedagogic Action (same words in French, only the order changes), so it bore a big sign on the front saying CRAP.
(edit: I got it wrong, the acronym actually means Centre de Ressources et d'Appui Pedagogique and is for distance-learning, not teacher's training. Whatever. They have a whole dedicated website: http://crap.cnam.fr)
