Home/End ignores "don't update topic URL" setting

If you turn on the preference "Don't update URL while scrolling through topics", then Discourse will stop updating your URL as you scroll through through posts within a topic, which is nice if you don't want it polluting your browse history.
However, pressing Home or End will still update the URL with the number of the first/last post in the topic.
