PSA: Chrome may be watching you

Luckily, it's easy to stop yourself being recorded secretly: deny the website permission to use the camera and mic. But you were doing that already, weren't you?

That also works. Unfortunately, when it comes to Windows tablets, you don't often get a choice in the matter.

That also works. Unfortunately, when it comes to Windows tablets, you don't often get a choice in the matter.
sure they do. disable the device in device manager. that is easy to do.

And/or put electrical tape over the camera. Maybe the mic too.

Electrical tape won't do much to muffle the sound, tbh. You could try stuffing some cotton wool into the hole, but it's normally so tiny, you can't get anything in. And then you have the issue with getting it out again.

Yeah, when I put my desktop together, I decided Nope! If I need to skype someone, I'll do it on the laptop...

If the courtroom flag has gold fringe, that means the court isn't trying you but trying a fictional person whose name is the same of yours (except in all caps) and therefore you don't owe taxes.
