Striped pendant
-
Anybody else notice that has a weird striped background now? It's even more noticeable than the weird striped background on Lounge stuff.
edit: (now that I finally re-figured out how to capture screenshots on my Android phone)
Chrome on Android
Chrome on iOS
(individual lines don't show up in "emoji" size, but in full size they do)
(.jpg?! wtf... I know those screenshots were captured as .png images, and all I did was crop them... )

It's pretty hard to see it in that color scheme. Try opening the image in its own tab and see if you can tell then.

@anotherusername No.
(FF53.0.3 on win10)
-
@dcon for some reason there it has a shaded background. Must be a result of how it got rendered at that scale, because the image is larger than it's being displayed.
-
Wait, why do we have a 512x512 emoji of a circle with a smaller circle under it?
-
@ben_lubar because it's a pendant necklace, and plenty ff us around here are pendantic.

Was this one of the recent changes to make it more visible on dark themes?

I liked the invert CSS better. And it's barely visible on dark themes anyway. And... a background, sure, but stripes?

I didn't change the image at all when I did that. Just the CSS.
-
@ben_lubar did you test it on a dark theme? Because it's still all but invisible to me

I think I made  icons have white backgrounds, but nothing else.
-
@Jaloopa testing sounds awfully like that W thing the moderators don't do.
-
@Jaloopa I made a userscript to make dark emojicons show up on dark themes before Ben's CSS changes, and it works pretty well for me.
