Fuck Google and fuck Opera

Usually, my googling looks like this:
But since today, it sometimes looks like this:
But it only does that on Opera - on Edge it looks good (ie. like the first image).
Has anybody encountered this problem before and know how to fix it? If not, can you recommend me a decent browser that isn't Firefox, Chrome or Opera?

second image is google's "low feature compatibility" mode. It serves that mode to people who are running ancient browsers or who have found the setting to enable that mode hidden away in the bowels of google's interface (they don't like you seeing it)
basically Google thinks your opera is massively out of date or doesn't support some feature
Xand is serving it's "at least it still works" version.prime culpret would be some plugging messing with you javascript or maybe some user agent shenanigains. wither way that would be resolved by just getting the one true browser already.

Whenever sites do something like this to me I clear out all the cookies for that site, which often clears whatever was confusing things.

@Gąska Yeah mine does the same thing since updating to Opera 45.0.2552.812 on Linux (Solus OS). Chrome and Firefox both work fine.

Yes
and know how to fix it?
There are two options:
- Spoof your user agent to hide the fact that you're using Opera
- Take Google to court for offering a worse version of their page to a browser that's perfectly capable of running the real one.
The first one is the fastest, but the second one is much more interesting.

@anonymous234 When I have time, I'll try the second option. For now, I made my user agent "Firefox 53", and it seems to work.
What's weird is that changing user agent to previous Opera version didn't solve the problem, which means it's Google who fucked up their update, not Opera.

also opera has this pop out window for video that is awesome.
As I work at home, I like to listen to radio / tele / podcasts in the background while working. I find music too distracting.
I can have the JRE podcast in the corner and just chill and write some typescript.

It's even using Chromium, so no reason to treat it any differently from, say, Chrome.
My old version of Chrome on OSX shows the full-featured Google page, even though it's way more out of date than latest Opera. I can't even paste pictures on this forum anymore on my Mac.
