So, that's 5 posts swallowed up into 1 (same bug as was found yesterday, and "fixed"; the fix only partially works, some of the time...).
When people upvote it, I think the first post is getting the upvotes, but the last post's score is being displayed...
-
This is awesome.
-
I'm inclined to think that the broken fix is probably also still broken with topic titles. @RaceProUK, care to test that? :p
As far as I can tell, the "fix" is that certain strings similar to the following (I'm using extra invisible stuff to keep the parser at bay):
[[a:a, a]]
instead get changed to:
[[a:a, a]]
(if you don't see a difference, reload.)
That still leaves a lot of strings that can be parsed by the translator, and the bug which allows a single string to span multiple posts (or even topics) hasn't really been fixed.
-
@anotherusername I saw a case this morning where a topic caused other topics to not load in /unread.
Any idea what placeholder tag things the bottom right notifications use? I bet those could be exploited in interesting ways.

@anotherusername Can you make them leak? Or is it just
<code>
that leaks?
-
@Magus I'm pretty sure any of them can leak.
-
Okay, so now the title isn't replacing?

That's been like that all day. If you get the smaller header thing it doesn't replace, if you're on the top few posts it does.
edit: Oh, NVM.
-
@anotherusername I think Ben's been fixing stuff
-
It seems to matter when the first post is loaded for me or something, because the leaking here turns on and off sometimes.
-
@Magus it depends entirely on whether the first post loads, because that post contains the beginning of what the parser's eating and spitting out wrong.
View raw shows the entirety of the first post:
a, b, c]]
-
@anotherusername So, earlier, I scrolled to the top and saw the uneaten posts and the OP, but now the OP streams in and eats the others like it did originally.
-
@anotherusername ummm.... that one might be bad.
See if you can figure out what's wrong...
