@PJH Never have I seen anything demonstrate the North-South divide so well
-
No mention of this one ?

Might I trouble you to elaborate a bit on that, please?
-
@Mikael_Svahnberg All the northern places went for stout-hearted meat pies, and the southern places went for fancy dessert pies ;)
The Midlands, funnily enough, were somewhere in the middle.

Meat pies get confiscated as you pass Watford Gap.
P.S. banoffee pies and apple pies are not fancy even in the north.

And since it didn't onebox text at the anchor:
Making use of the above linguistic divide, authors, journalists and social commentators have written and spoken of a North/South divide separated by attributes, perceived or real, between two vague opposing entities 'Northern England' and 'Southern England', a somewhat controversial dichotomy, often publicly denounced, and not merely by political parties as explained in the articles on those places.

I'd need to see the pie preferences of Southampton or Brighton to be sure of that. As it is, there's too few sample points in the South.

@dkf
The real question is... which pie gets me to Mornington Crescent?
-
@izzion Oh, we know that. Banoffee.

Shoofly? Black Bottom? Chess?
That, of course, is a whole different South.

Since Tudor Court Rules apply, Kings Cross.

Imagine that...
I bought this when I was four because I liked the colours. Trust a Swede's unfaltering instincts to stay neutral and always straddle the line. Any line, as long as it divides something.

@RaceProUK No we do pasties.

Wrong Watford ;)
That one's definitely Southern.

No - it's the same one.

And since that's refusing to onebox for some reason:
Watford Football Club is a football club based in Watford, Hertfordshire, England

Unlike Watford Gap, which is near a different Watford.

Also very typical Swedish to find the wrong picket line. You should come visit our WW1 trenches up north.

Tudor Court Rules? Is that in the Henry or the Elisabeth editions? Hmm, I guess I'll have to play safe in that case.
Shepherd's Bush.

Meat pie sounds horrible. I prefer a simple chocolate pie
