Oh man, the reviews skewer this product:
He spent over a half an hour following the instructions and couldn't get it do more than two effects because the 'reset' posistion very rarely worked. Mostly the same 'spell' kept repeating and wouldn't stop. He gave up and hasn't used it since.
Even though I could not consistently perform all of the spells, nobody knew any better and enjoyed the light show.
i have the original version of this. I wne t to play with it the other day and only one sleeve lit up. I took it off and inspected the connections and fond one of the connectors partially dislodged. Plugged it back im fully and retested the system. now only half the system tights up.sug deeper into the wiring only to find the wiring in the hood/collar area was was ripped off the board to the left side of the hood. so now i have to repair this thing because someone failed to solder and glue the wires to the board properly...now ive owned this for a few years but only used it like 4 times and it alsways gets hung up after use. kind of poor quality IMO. and with the 2.0 version you think they could have redesigned the box to run on 18650 batteries or something like that to possibly lighten the weigth on the one side.
Got one for my daughter and it will not come on.
Put batteries in, and turned it on. The red light lit up on the box briefly then went out. Now nothing I do will make it work. The light won't come on at all.The batteries are brand new.
Looks good as a costume hoodie if you remove the electronics and under shirt they attach too, but it has big problems that you should be aware up before throwing $150 on this!!!!
Was working pretty good to begin with. Now that I got the hang of the spells, it's glitchy. For instance I do the raise the dead spell and a fire ball cast. Or I restore health and I cast an energy beam. Only had it a couple days but have read a lot of good things. Any advice?
I noticed that when strapped down to your writst the snesor tends tilt forward at an angle instead of lean flatt so sticking a pice of folded paper at roughlty a centemeter thickness sanwitched between your arm and the sensor allows it to lay level which drastically improves your ability to cast spells, also another note, I noticiced the snesor works fine when set directly in the middle of my wrist, so you don't have to "Offset" it to the left or right if your hand position natrually is a little more tilted, instead if that's the case, try adjusting the paper wedge so that the sensor laying level to your wrist in the center (not tilted forward or back) but at a slight tilt left or right (left works best for me and probably for you as well since that seems to be the most common offset on right handed peeps) by pushing the paper wedge more so on the right side of the sensor to give it a litlte sideways lean towards the left, this will make it so that the sensor remains more "Level" when casting spells such as "Water Bending" which you have to place your hand palms forward down 90 degrees in front of you without having to tilt your hand or rotate it nearly 45 degrees to the left with your thunbs pointed sightly towards the ground just to get that spell to work which shold work originally with the bottom of your hand held out directly level to the floor. This helps compenste that offset since the sensor just directly flatt on your wrist still tends to be off just due to the way your elbows and wrists bend naturally. Hope this advice helps!

@Yamikuronue Yeah. That looked like a really interesting idea. I might actually buy one if I had reason to believe it was reliable, but this... gonna have to pass.

He totally needs a Lightsabre, that'd complete the look for sure.

I'm pretty sure he's trying not to piss himself with laughter for how dumb that robe looks.

@Yamikuronue that's just people with low INT and WIS stats blaming their failed spells on their robes
