I guess the stack was breaking up below sea level, in January there were reports of pieces breaking off.

Even in the photo in the OP the base of the stack near sea-level is noticeably narrower than the higher-up part.
I'm reminded of a similar feature at Étretat (France), which I've seen myself.

How did they mess up the lighting so badly?? There is no consistency between the shadows on the rocks (hinting at a sun almost at the zenith, slightly behind the rock and to the left of it) and those of the characters in front (light from dead front, or maybe slightly left).
Oh well, I guess this must be a snapshot from a cheap second-rate movie, then, not a high-budget blockbuster...
At least the GoT one is less obviously botched.
