Mistaken for Tech Talk
-
Have you ever been so into the Geek Zone that you mistook totally valid normal talk for talking about something really techy?
I will have a go first:
I was visiting my father for a Sunday Meal.
My step mum asked me what I thought about the new Windows.
I said quite innocently "The new windows is really good". My step mum looked really confused.
Then my Dad gave me "THE LOOK" and said "She means the windows on the front of the house".
My brother didn't stop laughing for the entire meal.

A while back I was listening to the radio, and a traffic report came on. They mentioned a closure on the highway, and the first thing that went through my head was to wonder what anonymous methods have to do with traffic?
-
Back in the day, I kept wondering why the characters on Melrose Place were so het up about database design. Turns out they were worried about defining some other kind of relationships.

So, in other words, you're the only one in your family that thinks Win10 is good

@TimeBandit It was Windows 7 I believe.
-
@lucas1 So this conversation was 8 years ago?
-
@abarker Yes. Something reminded me of it the other day. I thought it was amusing.

@abarker
How do we go about getting a "GODDAMMIT FBMAC" before the op of a thread

Luckily it has nothing to do with Microsoft cloud services.
