Hmm...

     Maybe it's a very cold 82 to be lower than 75?

  •  TRWTF is "Hi" and "Lo".  There's plenty of room to fit the actual fucking words on there.

  • How many times have we seen this theme?

    OMG the estimate was way off!  WTF?

    Or maybe you just wanted to show off how warm it is there.

  • Don't know how many times we've seen the theme.  The point is, if the estimate is off, change the fraking estimate!  How hard to code, if ( temp > maxtemp ) maxtemp = temp;  if ( temp < mintemp ) mintemp = temp;

  •  But then you lose the information that it is unexpectedly hot today. Why lie?

    Or hell, just write H and L. At least it'd look less stupid.

    Obviously you miss the point of an estimate.  Would you ever trust the estimate if it was just changed every time to be right?

    Maybe they should apply that to gambling odds?  "Oh, we had to change the odds based on the outcome of the game."

     That'd be silly. Change the spread.

    Yeah.  I don't gamble so I mix them all up.  Odds would be for horse racing, spread for sports games.  Whatever.

  •  I know this is unrelated but why does the forum keep switching between green and blue skins?

    From the little bit of forecasting and reporting work I have done, this is the general consensus I have gotten about this issue.  Now, when I formulated the estimated low for the day, and I notice that it is already colder than the low, then I would adjust accordingly.

    Because it loads both sets of CSS, the blue shown later in the document. However, sometimes your browser will parse the green CSS last rendering the page green.

    When was the last time you had an eye exam?

    I think it happens because the blue stylesheet is lost in transit/times out. If browsers selected stylesheets randomly, it would be pretty crazy.

    Ah at least there is now something more interesting in this thread than yet another image of a weather forecast with incorrect numbers on it.
